What were your first memories of travel?

In a nostalgic realm, memories blend like a tapestry, woven from vivid recollections and frozen snapshots. Amidst this beautiful blur, a particular moment stands tall: our inaugural family voyage to Singer Island in Florida. Though its allure may pale in comparison to subsequent adventures, the indelible imprint of those initial steps upon the sandy shore and the gentle sway of palm trees endures, etched within me.

What is on your travel radar?

Amidst my favourite destinations, Jordan holds a special allure. Beyond the renowned sites of Amman and Petra, I'm captivated by the country's hidden treasures. This sentiment echoes across all nations, as Greece exceeds Santorini and Mykonos, and Italy goes beyond Venice. True travel magic happens when we venture off the beaten path, as I discovered in Portugal's unexplored Costa Vicentina. There, I encountered breathtaking landscapes, genuine encounters with locals, and culinary delights that surpassed the crowded Algarve.

What’s one place you think everyone should visit at least once?

Your own “backyard”.  Canada has some amazing places we tend to forget about when we think travel.  We also have some of the best hidden gem hotels & resorts. 

What’s the most unique or extravagant experience you’ve planned for a client?

For a milestone birthday, I arranged a helicopter arrival at the Cliffs of Moher, where a luxurious picnic awaited under elegant tents. The stunning landscape provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable celebration. A truly unique blend of nature and extravagance.

Can you share a secret spot you only recommend to your closest clients?

There are so many amazing places in this world.  If I can name just one, I would say Namibia.  It is a place of contrasts, where sparse, arid, and other-worldly landscapes somehow support an incredible array of wildlife and many fascinating cultures.  Add some amazing lodges and we have a true gem.

What’s your the best travel tip?

Less is more.  Immerse yourself in one or two places vs trying to cover an entire country.  Life is not about ticking off a list, but more about gathering experiences that are meaningful.
